I've been wearing Softlips since I was in middle school. It comes in a simple package that can slip in a dress pocket, a purse or glove compartment of your car. The newest offerings from Softlips are 100% natural and organic with light, pleasant flavors available in several varities.
How do you keep your lips soft? Answer in the comment box and check back next week as three winners will be selected next Friday.
Compact goodness (my favorite flavor!)
A plethora of pink
Nudes + Corals
Well, even though I already won one thing, I will go for it again! :)
ReplyDeleteI've bought "scrubs" for lips from marykay and other beauty companies before. Then I realized it's easy to do yourself - so I sometimes just take sugar and mix a little water and lemon juice with it and rub it on my lips and immediately rinse.
Oh -and it doesn't hurt that I'm addicted to lipgloss so I'm constantly moisturizing my lips! lol
I love using Lip Butter by Carol's Daughter. It makes my lips soft, keep them moisturized and smells and taste pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI'm open to trying something new. So, send them my way..;-)
Every night before I go to sleep I apply a thin layer of Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 (coconut). The small tube lasts forever because you only need a small amount to keep your lips feeling hydrated. It's not sticky or greasy, so it doesn't rub off on my pillow.
ReplyDeleteDuring the day I use the Lip Conditioner Stick SPF 15 by M.A.C. It has the subtle vanilla smell that most of their lip products have. Again, this product is not waxy or sticky and it can be worn under lipgloss or lipstick.
I really love to use my toothbrush to exfoliate my lips, then I moisturize with Vaseline. Not too glamourous, but it is a tried and true trick that works!
ReplyDeleteI like to lube it up at night, that's the most important takeaway I can share about lip care.
ReplyDeleteLEMON JUICE!
ReplyDeleteI kiss alot of frogs...
ReplyDeleteExfoliate and use Noxema to make them tingle. Then cover in a creamy blam. Do this esp in the winter. You'll thank me later.
ReplyDeleteI love having soft and glowing lips. I think it just adds a sense of style and glow on these warm summer days. To keep my lips smooth and luscious, once or twice a week I brush them -- I take my tooth brush and give them a little scrub then apply lip balm to keep in the richness!
ReplyDeleteLayer after layer of cream, balm or any kind of ointment or gloss keeps my lips so sexy and kissable. You wouldn't believe it.
ReplyDeleteMouth health overall is important, brushing your teeth and using mouthwash. Lip care is a part of that. I keep the area clean and moisturize.
ReplyDeletesoft lips? love&light!!!

I keep my lips soft by occasionally brushing them with a toothbrush + Vaseline or exfoliating with granulated sugar. Makes them soft as silk!
ReplyDeleteSome sort of balm with sugar mixed in, the grainy texture really works to keep the lips soft.
ReplyDeleteHow do I keep my lips soft? I never talk smack. Word.
