I've spent the past four days living at coffee shops and tea houses or cooped up in my apartment (with no voice, its been fun : /), and out of all this solitary confinement I can't help but be taken over by a desire for very feminine details. Bohemian fabrics like velvet and crocheted knits, curly hair strewn with feathers, headbands and beads, layers upon layers of sweaters and scarves and light, touchable fabrics in between. After a summer of straightening my hair, wearing oversized sunglasses, cut off shorts, self designed t-shirts and the ever-present flip flops - I finally let my hair go free (some girl at a party called me a mermaid. I'm still not sure if that's a compliment.), my jewelry pile on every finger and the colors and patterns free flow until everything felt just right.
